Choosing the Right Swing Anchor Before You Draw
Many traders draw Fibonacci tools from the nearest high and low without asking whether that leg still defines the structure. In our Jongno studio we slow that impulse. Students mark the impulse that created the current context, then write why that swing—not a noise spike—deserves measurement. Only after naming the criteria do they place 38.2, 50, and 61.8 on the page.
We also separate timeframe roles. A daily impulse may define the map; a fifteen-minute pullback may only refine timing. Mixing those jobs is how retracement grids become clutter. Bring one instrument you know well, mark three impulse legs from the past month, and grade them with the same language you would use live. Patterns in your own notes teach faster than generic chart screenshots.
